Here are some helpful tips that Michele's mom clipped out of a magazine. We are going to share them with you.

5 Things to do with .....a hair dryer.

1- Remove crayon marks or wax spills. Blow-dry the stain on high heat until the wax melts, then wipe it up with a sponge.

2- "Iron" your plastic tablecloth or shower curtain- hot air on plastic relaxes pesky wrinkles. be sure to hold dryer 12" away. ( Seriously?? Not sure if that is necessary)

3-Set frosting or icing- Want your cake or cookies to look perfect?? Cool air helps harden icing; hot air brightens a dull glaze.

4- Unstick a photo. Blow warm air on the back of the photo album page while working the photo on the other side free.

5-Dust hard-to-reach places. Point a dryer set on cool at those shelves and corners, and blow the dust right off. ( who cares where it goes!!)

Aubrey and Michele learn a new haircut from the collection "Quest" by the Sojourn creative team.

On Monday, January 24th, Aubrey and Michele went to the Beauty Craft store in Minnetonka to participate in a cutting class with the Sojourn creative team. Gustavo, Sadie and Penny taught us the new look from the Quest collection, which Sojourn launched yesterday. We learned lots of new tips and tricks that we are super excited to share with all our clients heads of hair!!

Take the stylist bowling, take them bowling!!

The Foiled Again gang went bowling at local bowling establishment Elsie's for our 9th annual holiday party. At our party we celebrated Thea being with us 7 years, Jessica 6 years, Teri 5 years, Emily 4 years, Amy & Aubrey who joined us this year. We also made a toast to a wedding, and two babies. Jessica and Dave are getting married in 2012, Teri is having a baby in May, and Aubrey is having a baby in July. We have an exciting year ahead of us. Oh yeah, and we had some fierce bowling action.

Artist reception for Samuel Paul Vevang

On New Years Eve we had an artist reception for Samuel Paul Vevang. Sam had line drawings from his collection "December Sun" displayed at Foiled Again for the months of November and December. I lost most of the photos from the reception due to technical difficulties with my camera chip, so many of these are just from my iphone. Enjoy and thanks for checking out our blog.
