ABOUT FOILED AGAIN

Foiled Again is a neighborhood salon in Northeast Minneapolis that boasts big-city style. Home to seven stylists that do everything from foils to hair cuts to special event styles, Foiled Again is also a community-focused space that exhibits local art shows.

It all began in 2001, when Michele and Erik Vevang opened the first salon on the corner of 22nd Ave. NE and Johnson St. NE. In just four years, the business outgrew the space, so Foiled Again moved a few blocks to a classic old beauty shop (Margie’s) at 2807 Johnson St. NE.

Erik and Michele rolled up their sleeves to completely revamp the beauty shop and after a lot of sweat, only a little blood and not too many tears; the current location for Foiled Again opened its doors in May 2005.
